Judith Spiegel received the Dipl.-Ing. (M.Sc.) degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the University of Karlsruhe (TH), Germany, in 2004. She joined the microwave laboratory at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium,
where she worked as a research assistant and obtained her Ph.D. degree in November 2009. Her main research interests are design and characterization of microwave devices. She has particular interest in magnetic materials, nanomaterials and metamaterials.
