Sources and the History of Sources is a series dedicated to the study and edition of Arabic sources or sources related to the Arab world in all fields of knowledge. The period considered extends from the 7th to the 20th century (Early Islamic, Medieval and Ottoman period, Nahda, and French Mandate). The series is also intended for the publication of primary sources in their original language, with commentaries and critical editions. Proceedings of symposia, monographs, essays and other studies analysing diverse source materials, whether literary or historical, in the periods considered are all welcome as part of the series.
