During the hundred years of its existence, the American College of Louvain has trained and sent to America more than a thousand priests who have helped to build the Catholic Church in the United States and Canada. Because of the re-opening of the American College in 1952 and its centennial celebration in 1957, those interested in the college have not only looked to the future but also have turned their eyes to the past, thus giving rise to the desire for this complete history of the American Louvain seminary.
