<Text language="fre"><p>Globalisation tends to erase local and regional particularities. The Verbatim collection aims to highlight the world's polyphony of languages and diversity of cultures. It champions oral discourse and its translation, emphasising the power and crucial role of the spoken word—each and every word—by compiling and offering corpora in a multitude of contemporary and ancient world languages. The collection includes verbatim accounts of workshops and oral surveys, as well as life stories and any other type of oral account in vernacular language.<br /> Directors: Olivier Servais and Frédéric Laugrand</p></Text>
